The Challenge of Multilingual Communication in Addressing Mavi’s Persistent Bullying

Bullying is a serious issue that affects dogs of all ages and backgrounds. In a diverse dog society where multilingual communication is essential, addressing bullying can become even more challenging. One such case is that of Mavi, a persistent bully Frenchie used to bully Zoe our Golden Retriever, so we started communicating in different languages to deter Mavi to know we are talking about Zoe. We even used other names for Zoe like Orange, Cutie, etc in other languages. This technic seems to evade understanding despite efforts made through multilingual communication. Mavi soon learned what we are saying.

Despite attempts to address Mavi’s persistent bullying through multilingual communication, it has become evident that this approach has not been successful in deterring his understanding of the issue. One possible reason for this ineffectiveness is Mavi’s ability to learn fast.

Now we cannot hide any conversation from him. He understands well three languages. This shows that French bulldogs might have better communication abilities than Border Collies. At least in our case.

Understanding the Intelligence of French Bulldogs

Intelligence in dogs can be a complex concept to define and measure, as it encompasses various aspects such as problem-solving skills, trainability, and adaptive behavior. When it comes to French Bulldogs, it is important to consider that intelligence is not solely based on their ability to perform complex tasks or obey commands with precision, but rather on their capacity to understand and respond appropriately to their environment.

French Bulldogs may not rank at the top of the list in terms of problem-solving or obedience training, but they possess a unique set of characteristics that showcase their intelligence in their own way. These dogs are known for their social intelligence, which allows them to establish strong bonds with their human companions.
